Mega Millions vs Powerball

Players will pick five numbers from 1 to 59 and one number from 1 to 35. Powerball offers players an annuity choice which is paid out in installments over 30 years or a cash option which will give the lucky winner all of the cash at a lower number.

Mega Millions
Mega Millions offers players the same system as Powerball for the most part. Players will only have to pay $1 for their tickets along with $2 for a 2, 3 or 4 Megaplier which can times a players non-jackpot winnings to make them even bigger. Mega Millions is offered in 45 states and gives players the option for an annuity or a cash payout. Annuities are paid out over a period of 26 years. Mega Millions allows players to purchase tickets at age 18, from there states are able to regulate on age restrictions as they please. Some states are 21, others are 18.
