Blacklisted Online Casinos

The online casino industry is ever-changing and moves quickly. Two things that hold casinos accountable are player reviews and websites like this one! Due to that ever-changing nature of the online gambling industry, we had to create an area of our website dedicated to blacklisted online casinos. Like with all companies, there are circumstances where once reputable online casinos turn just downright bad for players over time. Some of the casinos that have been listed previously as reputable, have either changed management or closed down entirely. A casino can be blacklisted for many reasons such as;

• Unethical Behavior
◦ Unethical behavior can range from; History of delayed payouts without cause, high number of player complaints, no honoring bonus terms or marketing practices that aren’t transparent.

• Closed Casinos
◦ An online casino can close for various reasons, but sometimes the brand will re-emerge and this is where things get tricky. We don’t always know if the brand is operating with the same terms and conditions, bonus terms or if the brand is being operated by the original owner, therefore we can’t list them as reputable until they have been explored.

• Bought out by Non-Reputable Casino Companies
◦ This goes hand in hand with the previous bullet point, some casino brands never close, but are silently purchased by new owners which may not be reputable, or may carry a reputation for being untrustworthy and that is always bad for the players.

• Not Honoring Terms and Conditions
◦ In most cases, a player hitting it big at any casino is a great thing, it’s a wonderful opportunity for the casino to put out press releases and to talk about their brand positively. Unfortunately, some casinos don’t see it this way and they won’t honor the winnings due to some unwritten “technical” flaw that the player was unaware of.
